J's Stash: Zoya Nimue

Zoya Nimue

Happy Saturday! I hope you all are well :)

Wellll, I've been busy adding to my collection, for better or for worse.  I picked up 6 great new colors at Sally Beauty Supply and Walgreens yesterday, adding to the ones I grabbed from Ulta earlier in the week.  I think I've been doing a little too much, so I'll be on a no-buy for a while.  I have so many polishes that haven't even been swatched yet, since I wasn't blogging at the time I really started adding to my collection.  My goal is to slowly, but surely get all of my older colors swatched and posted here.  I've decided to call those posts "J's Stash."  I think that will help distinguish the older colors from the new collections.

The first one I'd like to show you from my stash is Zoya Nimue.  Nimue comes from "Mirrors" side of the Fall 2011 Smoke and Mirrors collection.  I own most of the collection, and it is by far one of my favorite collections overall.  Take a look at my review for Jana which I love because it looks great on my skin tone and it's really just an easy go-to color.  In fact, the whole collection is one that I think works well for a wide range of skin tones.

I'm a sucker for purples and berry tones, so with Nimue being another winning Zoya formula, it's no surprise that I really liked it.

Polish Notes:

Description: "a smoky muted thistle purple with blue and mauve tones and a silvered metallic finish"
Base coat: none
Coats of polish used: Two coats
Comments about application:  Formula seemed to be just the right consistency - not too thin, not thick.  Applied very smoothly.

  2. Thanks Adrianne! You know how long my Zoya list is? It's probably easier for me to name the ones I DON'T want. LOL
